Aegidii-Kirche

The former monastery church of the Capuchin order was erected 1724–28 according to building plans from Johann Conrad Schlaun. After the monastery had been dissolved in 1811, the baroque furnishings were sold. The high and unpretentious brick building with its very attractive sandstone front and ridge turret houses elaborately carved wooden pulpits and ceiling paintings in the style of the Nazarene School.
