St. Johannes-Kapelle
The small Gothic chapel that was erected for the Knights of St. John as from 1311 is located close to Buddenturm Tower. The chapel is a small brick roofed hall without a tower with sandstone buttresses and window reveals in a gothic style, its portal having renaissance forms.
The small place of prayer that belongs to the Protestant Church in the meantime, has developed into a lively centre of ecumenism in Muenster. The chapel has also attracted attention since 2002 due to its new organ, built by the Strasbourg organ builder workshop Muhleisen.
