Burg Vischering (Castle)

Burg Vischering is one of the finest and best preserved castles in Germany. It has kept its well-fortified appearance with its defensive walls and moats, its drawbridge and arrow slits.

For grown-ups there is a museum depicting medieval life in the Münsterland, while for children there is a special living history exhibition on knights in armour, full of things to do. After a visit to the Café-Bistro, why not take a walk through the spacious gardens or into the delightful town centre of nearby Lüdinghausen, just a few minutes’ walk away?
