Bibelmuseum der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Biblemuseum of the University in Münster)

The museum uses original artefacts to show the history of the Bible from its handwritten beginnings to the present. It lays emphasis on the Greek New Testament as handed down in manuscript and in printed versions from the early sixteenth century to the present, on manuscripts and printed versions of the Latin Bible, the German Bible, especially in Luther’s translation, modern translations, Bible illustrations, and a faithful reconstruction of Gutenberg’s press.
