Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso (Museum of Pablo Picasso Art)

The museum, opened in September 2000, is Germany’s first Picasso museum. With over 780 lithographs, it houses a unified collection which is unique in the world, and which has been augmented by a hundred etchings with the purchase of the “Suite Vollard” in November 2001.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions give insights into Pablo Picasso’s pictorial world. There are guided tours, slide lectures on particular topics and a variety of other events to choose from.
