Mühlenhof-Freilichtmuseum Münster (Mühlenhof open-air museum)

Located on about five hectares of museum grounds on the shore of Lake Aa, almost thirty half-timbered buildings of various sizes may be visited, dating from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries.

In addition to the items in the historic collection in and around the houses, changing displays and special events give a wealth of insight into the lives of peasants and craftsmen in the Münster region and neighbouring areas.
