"Münster singt"

On Sunday, 8 December 2024, young and old, Münster residents and guests from near and far will meet and sing Christmas carols together. From the stage, the "father of pack singing", David Rauterberg, will accompany the singers live from 4.30 to 5.30 pm on Domplatz. Admission is free.

Westphalian Christmas Market

A special Christmas market with a lot of nostalgia takes place on all Advent weekends in the historic open-air museum Mühlenhof. On the approximately five-hectare site, visitors can expect to find wooden huts lovingly decorated for Christmas alongside around 30 buildings from the 17th to 19th centuries. They offer high-quality and typical Westphalian goods, decorations and many beautiful gift ideas for Christmas.

Advent offers from the churches

The Cityadvent with its artistic installations and impulses attracts visitors to the Liebfrauen-Überwasserkirche. Experience the exhibition ‘Mensch, wo bist Du?’ with sculptures by Aron Demetz. St Paul's Cathedral, St Lambert's Church and St Apostle's Church are also home to figures by the artist, music events, candlelight, services and prayer.
