Amount of payments

To the extent that you fulfil the prerequisites for a claim, the amount of payment will be calculated according to the following basic scheme

   Standard requirements ("Bürgergeld" (citizens' money)/social welfare payments)

+ additional requirements
+ further payments 
+ payments for accommodation and heating
-  offset-capable income
= claim

The employees at the Jobcenter will be pleased to explain the costs taken into account in standard requirements, the cases in which additional requirements and further payments are granted, how the costs of accommodation and heating are calculated and what is part of the offset-capable income and assets.
